6.6L Duramax Diesel Engine LMM
The LMM was introduced in 2007 and was featured in many Chevrolet and GMC HD trucks until 2010. Its new design featured increased technology to reduce carbon emissions, including elevation of the exhaust temperature to burn soot purposely trapped in the exhaust system. This advance was referred to as Diesel Oxidizing Catalyst (DOC). Bosch high pressure fuel injection was used in tandem with a CP3.3 injection pump in the LMM series. The LMM yields 365 bhp @ 3200 RPM and 660 lb ft torque @ 1600 RPM.
